The Fees Bureau Calculator online tool allows you to explore the fees data and calculate the average fee for a job. Like the print version, data is based on the latest survey. But unlike the print version, your subscription will allow you to always have access to the latest survey data, which is updated every Autumn.

How does it work?

The Fees Bureau Calculator for Engineers Fees presents fee data for 24 market sectors from flats to industrial new build; from education refurbishment to highway improvements. 

Specify your fees calculation by selecting:

● building sector and sub-sector
● building type (new build or refurbishment)
● type of services (Lead or Non-Lead Consultant)

● region

and then enter the contract value to display the calculated average fee. You can refine your calculation by altering any of the selection criteria or the construction value.

How is the fees data presented?
Fees data is shown visually in a chart and as a calculated figure. The chart provides context to the calculated figure. The chart and calculation can be downloaded to show clients or keep for your own records.

Also included:  Hourly charge-out rates can be calculated for eight different types of staff, for different practice sizes and different regions.
